{"id":404,"date":"2013-06-18T13:44:11","date_gmt":"2013-06-18T17:44:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ab4bj.com\/wordpress\/?p=404"},"modified":"2013-06-18T13:44:11","modified_gmt":"2013-06-18T17:44:11","slug":"new-acrylic-case-for-dv-dongle-and-dvap","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ab4bj.com\/wordpress\/2013\/06\/new-acrylic-case-for-dv-dongle-and-dvap\/","title":{"rendered":"New Acrylic Case for DV Dongle and DVAP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Robin Cutshaw, AA4RC and Internet Labs have introduced very cool new cases for the DV Dongle and the DVAP.\u00a0 While I have not changed out the case on my DV Dongle, I have had the opportunity to change the cases on my VHF and UHF DV Access Point Dongles.\u00a0 These new case look great and have a slightly larger footprint than the old case.\u00a0 They are also a bit heavier.\u00a0 A little extra weight is a plus, especially if you are looking for extra stability with a longer antenna.\u00a0 The new cases\u00a0are currently available from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hamradio.com\/detail.cfm?pid=H0-012314\" target=\"_blank\">HRO for $21.95<\/a>.\u00a0 While the case does not add any new functionality to the DV Dongle or DVAP, they are an aesthetic improvement and a better match\u00a0to a\u00a0Raspberry Pi mounted in a \u00a0clear case!\u00a0 The DV Dongle case is blue and the DVAP case is red &#8211; wipe off your fingerprints as you go\u00a0or you will see them through the several layers of the case\u00a0after assembly!<\/p>\n<div class=\"jetpack-video-wrapper\"><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center;
